Lennon/McCartney promote Apple in New York
On May 11th 1968 John Lennon and Paul McCartney flew to New York to promote The Beatles' newly formed Apple label. This was the first time both John and Paul visited America together since The Beatles' final concert at Candlestick Park.
They stayed at their lawyer's house on East 73rd Street for the four day trip; along with Mal Evans, Neil Aspinall and Magic Alex. The entourage flew back to London on May 16th, after four days of promoting Apple.
