Press Screening: Yellow Submarine

On July 8th 1968, nine days before its world premiere the Beatles, absent John Lennon attended a press screening of Yellow Submarine in London. This would be the first time they all saw the film in its entirety. A cardboard cutout of Lennon was brought to make up for his absence.
