George Harrison celebrates his 21st birthday
On February 25th 1964, The Beatles helped George Harrison celebrate his 21st birthday, after a recording session at Abbey Road.
Earlier that day the band recorded Can't Buy Me Love, And I Love Her, I Should Have Known Better and You Can't Do That.
In the evening they rented a private room in the upstairs of the Ivy Restaurant in London. They were joined by Brian Epstein, Cilla Black, Jane Asher, George Martin and Dick James.
As well as receiving over 30,000 birthday cards from fans around the world, Harrison was presented with a golden cigarette lighter from Brian Epstein.
