Paul finds his Wings

On August 3rd 1971, Paul McCartney announced the formation of his new band Wings. The group featured Linda McCartney and former Moody Blues' guitarist Denny Laine. 

With various lineups over the years, the band went on to record seven studio albums throughout the 1970s, including: Band on the Run, Venus and Mars and Red Rose Speedway.

Their output also included a string of hit singles, like: Live and Let Die, Jet and Mull of Kintyre.
