Filming: Hey Jude and Revolution promo videos

On September 4th 1968, The Beatles recorded promotional videos for Revolution and Hey Jude at Twickenham Film Studios, London.

The band enlisted Michael Lindsay-Hogg to direct the films, having worked with them previously on the Paperback Writer and Rain promo videos in 1966.

The Hey Jude film first aired on Frost on Sunday, September 8th, 1968. David Frost was with The Beatles when they recorded Hey Jude and can be seen introducing the band.

Hey Jude was released on August 26th, 1968, with Revolution as the B-side.
