The Beatles with Jimmie Nicol

Drummer Jummie Nicol was hired by Beatles' manager Brian Epstein in 1964, after Ringo Starr collapsed with tonsillitis and had to spend time in hospital. The Beatles were due to embark on their Australasian Tour and reluctantly accepted a stand-in drummer in Ringo's stead.
