Live: NME Poll Winners Concert

Although their final public performance was on top of Apple Headquarters in 1969, The Beatles played their last scheduled live concert in the UK on May 1st, 1966 in Wembley.

The band performed five songs at the NME Poll Winners' Concert in front of 10,000 people. The lineup included luminaries such as: Roy Orbison, The Rolling Stones, Dusty Springfield et al.

Unfortunately The Beatles' performance wasn't filmed because Brian Epstein couldn't broker a deal with ABC TV; who began to film the concert but sadly switched the cameras off after negotiations fell through.
